Little Thrills Salon

Little Thrills started with one simple idea: haircuts should work with your life, not against it. Founder Cynthia Valdez built her intuitive, restorative approach around real texture, real routines, and real people. With more than 10 years of experience, the main focus remains on providing high-quality hair services based on real techniques and years of training. That philosophy has earned us a client list that keeps coming back.

 

Today, that same approach is what we are building our whole studio around. As Little Thrills grows, every artist who joins us has the same philosophy — so whether you’re in Cynthia’s chair or one of our new stylists’, you’re getting the same hair-positive experience.

10/10! I went into my appointment looking like a chia pet had a baby with Lord Farquaad from Shreck, to leaving looking and feeling like the baddest 😮‍💨! I loved Cynthia’s personality and felt like I’ve known her for quite some time even though we just met the day of my appointment! She taught me about my hair texture and what products would work best the entire experience felt like I was hanging with a friend who just so happened to be good with sharp objects 😁. Cant wait to go back with my next style idea because I know she’s going to execute it to a T!

Cynthia is wonderful and really took the time to understand my hair goals. My color looks fabulous and my bangs and layers have so much more volume now. I have pretty thin hair but you’d never know based on how I left. She also showed me how to style it at home and provided some guidance for gray blending ideas for my future appointments. (Side note the wildflower iced latte I had here was one of the best lattes I’ve had in Austin!)

Have been coming to Little Thrills for a few years now and Cynthia never disappoints! She is kind and listens to your wants/needs. She also owns a coffee shop in same building which serves tasty drinks and treats. Go see her!!!

I got my hair done about a week ago and I have not stopped twirling around town! I have always had such intense anxiety around getting my hair done, so much that it’s typically years between salon visits. I have thick, long naturally curly hair & have spent my life with people telling me my hair isn’t curly and leaving me unsatisfied after my visits. When I saw Cynthia @ Little Thrills literally everything changed!! She made me feel so safe and seen, I knew I was being taken care of by a Latina queen!!! She completely transformed my hair and I cannot wait to go back to see her!! Not to mention the best conversations during my visit. She kept me in the loop of everything she was doing and gave me tips on how to keep taking care of my hair! She even pointed out some scalp concerns that have always gone unnoticed before so I can continue to take care of my overall health. Loved my experience & cannot recommend enough!!
